Yes, patients are seen by appointment. We also accept drop-off appointments for established client. Please call to schedule an appointment to better suit your pet's needs.

2. What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is required at the time of service. If you would like to arrange financing, we work with Care Credit, which offers finance plans for medical procedures.

4. At what age should I have my pet spayed or neutered?

Spaying or neutering can be done at approximately 6 months of age. Your pet is examined prior to surgery to ensure that he/she is healthy enough to undergo the surgical procedure. Current vaccinations are required at the time of surgery. In addition, a pre-anesthetic blood screen is required prior to undergoing anesthesia and surgery.

5. What is the pre-anesthetic blood screening?

A pre-anesthetic blood screen is comprised of blood tests that are performed prior to surgery. It tests the organ function, blood cell count, and electrolyte levels of your pet. The pre-anesthetic blood screen is done to assure safety during anesthesia and the ability to heal following surgery. It is required for all patients.

6. How long do the stitches stay in after my pet's surgery?

Procedures involving sutures usually require removal in 10-14 days following the surgery.

7. Is it a good idea to let my pet have at least one litter of kittens?

No, there is no advantage to letting your pet have one litter. However there are plenty of advantages to having your pet spayed or neutered. These advantages include decreasing the chances of mammary tumors later in life, decreasing the chance of cystic ovaries and uterine infections later in life, decreasing the desire to roam the neighborhood, helping prevent spraying and marking, and also decreases the surplus of unwanted kittens.

8. Do you board pets?

Yes, we offer short-term boarding for up to 5 days. Please call for further details.

9. Do you perform teeth cleanings?
Yes, we love dentistry! We are able to provide a comprehensive oral assessment of your cat’s teeth and gums at the time of the dental cleaning. Check out the Services link or give us a call at (757) 447-9750 for more information.
