Meet Our Team

Hello! I’m Jenn, a Licensed Veterinary Technician with over 25 years of experience in caring for animals. I have worked with many species, including horses, cows, pigs, birds, reptiles, small exotics, cats, and dogs. My passions include animal behavior, emergency medicine, dentistry, client education, and helping cats stay happy, healthy, and well cared for.

My interest in veterinary medicine began at age 8, when my parents brought home my first dog, a Siberian Husky. Learning about the breed and its care sparked my love for the field. As my family raised more Huskies, our veterinarian encouraged my curiosity, and my passion for veterinary medicine continued to grow.

I am originally from Virginia Beach, but I also lived in North Carolina for many years. I began college at Old Dominion University and completed my degree in North Carolina as a Registered Veterinary Technician. I obtained licensure in Virginia after moving back to the area.

I am proud and grateful to come from generations of military family members. At home, I have several rescued animals including four dogs and three cats, each with a unique story. In my free time, I enjoy traveling with my family, playing violin, and collecting classic cars, including my 2007 and 1966 Mustangs, and a 1967 GTO.

I look forward to meeting you and your kitty companions!

Hello! I’m Kirstin, a proud Virginia native. I earned an Associate of Science degree from Tidewater Community College and spent the past five years working as a Veterinary Assistant, including one year with Lighthouse Veterinary Care for Cats. My hands-on experience in animal care, combined with compassion and attention to detail, helps me to provide excellent service and high-quality care to both our clients and feline friends as a Customer Service Representative.

At home, I spend time with my husband and three beloved cats—Poncho, Orange Julius, and Mako. Outside of work, I find joy in gardening, crocheting, and painting, and love spending time outdoors on nature walks. I am also an avid fan of video games and baking, and always happy to unwind with a creative project or a sweet treat fresh from the oven.

Hello! I’m Zoe, a Certified Veterinary Assistant at Lighthouse Veterinary Care for Cats. I joined the team as an intern in 2023 and have worked in the veterinary field for more than two years. I earned an Associate of Science degree from Tidewater Community College and am passionate about feline care, client communication, and providing education. I am currently training as a groomer and enjoy helping our feline friends look their best. I hope to continue growing in my career to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician. As a lifelong Virginia Beach resident, I share my home with four fur babies—Dakota, Petit Pois, Artemis, and Kuzco. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and crafts. I look forward to helping your feline friends stay happy and healthy!

Hello! I'm Dianelys. I have a strong passion for feline welfare. I love providing gentle, compassionate care to every cat I meet. As a Certified Veterinary Assistant, I enjoy working hands-on with patients and supporting all aspects of feline care, from patient handling to assisting with treatments and procedures. I am especially focused on growing my skills in feline behavior and low-stress handling to help create a calm and comfortable experience for both cats and their owners. Outside of the clinic, I am a proud owner to two cats – Jynx and Riolo, which has further strengthened my understanding of feline behavior and care.
